Khaba is a village close to Jaisalmer, more than half of which is completely deserted. The grazing cattle and peacocks lead you to the Khaba fort which has recently been renovated. The ancient fort in the Khaba village takes you to the depths of rich history of the village. The fort houses a Geological Museum which exhibits fossils, the ruins of the houses, deserted for over 250 years are simply astonishing. Also join the cattle farmer as he starts his day with taking cattle to feed, womenfolk milking cows, goats, sheep, camels and preparing their bread on earthen stove.
