Welcome to the place where people unflinchingly sacrifices their lives for trees in 1730 AD. Meet the Bishnois, nature loving people and join their festivities and live the village life. Around 3 km from Khejarli is Sangasani village, a nice place where you can join the clay handicraft makers and get some great takeaways. The water pond in the village Guda Bishnoi, 6 km from Khejarli, is the best place to get acquainted with the wildlife of the area. On the way to Jodhpur via Kakani and Salawas, explore local crafts like block printing, pottery making and durry weaving. You can also take a traditional lunch at the village and enjoy a camel ride. A fair is organized here in September every here in the eve if 363 martyrs who lost their lives saving the Khejri trees in their village.
